The Road to COP Webinar Series: Nitrogen Management by Indigenous Peoples

The Climate Working Group is excited to host the first webinar session of our Road to COP Series. 

This session will feature iN-Net Climate Working Group Task Force 3 Coordinator, Bedanga Bordoloi, who will be sharing his expertise on nitrogen management by indigenous peoples.

Topic Description: Nitrogen management in areas with significant Indigenous populations focuses on blending traditional ecological knowledge (TEK) with sustainable, low-cost, and ecologically friendly techniques to improve soil health, increase crop productivity, and prevent environmental pollution. These strategies are crucial for maintaining food security in subsistence farming communities while limiting dependency on expensive or toxic synthetic fertilizers.
