Data Dashboard
How much N is being produced, consumed and lost in a particular country? Which sectors dominate? What policies are already in place?
While much N-relevant data is publicly available, including a large portion produced by iN-Net’s partner networks, it is spread across a variety of locations and formats.
This is the motivation behind iN-Net’s data dashboard, which is a one-stop-shop for existing nitrogen data from iN-Net partner networks, and other research groups, countries and disciplines. By aggregating and visualizing these different data sources in one place, this dashboard provides a common foundation for the development and evaluation of national action plans to halve N waste.

National Action Plan
Technical Guidance Document
This guidance helps countries develop a National Action Plan (NAP) to improve nitrogen management — from initial organization through adoption, implementation, monitoring, and review. It supports countries in building national nitrogen evidence, applying established methods and tools at a level suited to their capacity and needs, and strengthening nitrogen assessment and management over successive NAP cycles.
The guidance is intended primarily for UNEP Working Group on Nitrogen (WGN) national focal points and the government institutions and technical teams coordinating NAP development, and may also support sector ministries, technical experts, researchers, and partner institutions contributing to the process.
